I am currently seeing new reqs go live on the job board, yet they announced hiring changes last week, without any insight into "what" is being classified as critical... I'm in the interview process for a couple of roles (sales) and have been told mixed messages (no impact to one of my roles), and then I was told by another recruiter that all of the roles at Cisco are currently on "pause". I'm wondering if anyone has insight?

I got an offer yesterday afternoon, so I do not believe every single role is frozen!
I just filled on. I start in Jan! Super excited to join the team!
Hiring is paused in anticipation of the upcoming Sales LR. Did their best to drive folks out by hosing all of sales with dramatically overstated and unattainable quotas, now they'll move towards LR. Can't take on Splunk at our current size, Splunk is already laying folks off to slim up for the merger. Can't wait to take on another behemoth tech company on the decline so we can consume their ARR and get deeper into this spin that we're a software company.
Ghost reqs.
Hmm interesting, a friend of mine just received an offer on Thursday-the role is for a renewals manager, which is still part of the sales org....I know renewals is a HUGE growth area, so potentially the pause could be on certain reqs within sales?
there is no job no need to waste your time to applying. When the time comes to "pause" releases, everyone else will be hiring, why Cisco?
All reqs in Americas Sales are on 'pause' but the interview process continues so when the pause is released, the hiring manager can move quickly to make an offer.
