Leaving or being pushed out the door?
No one buys T Cybersecurity as a cornerstone to their network security environment….period. T will start selling auto warranties with phone upgrades.

Thanks for the link to that blog article written by AI. The real question here is my AT&T can't execute on major acquisitions. My theory is that the employees are resistant to change. When I think of them, I think of an endless row of T-Rex.
Another botched acquisition...alien vault was a total bust..if ATT took that business seriously 10 years ago they could have been a leader..pal all to was nothing back then...look what investment an leadership can do!
About 850 according to this: https://blog.techstaffer.com/att-employees-what-to-know-about-the-cybersecurity-spin-off
Yes, unfortunately all 8 employees will be leaving the firm.

AT&T has a cybersecurity division?
So there should be roundtable discussions to get input as to the best way to spin off that work?
Cybersecurity Spinoff is a reality, people are not d-mb to still work hard
Why do you act as if anyone would know this? No one knows. Per usual when the corporation makes sweeping decisions that will affect thousands. Employees not consulted or otherwise in the loop.
They will start to have an idea of the impact when the layoffs come.
Until then it's "...we understand this will cause some anxiety among the workforce, but we ask that you remain focused...". Et cetera, et cetera. Rince, repeat. Same as it ever was.
We can only hope we are leaving.
