I'm always worried they'll stealthily try to reduce severance.

@2ynt+1pVbYGoH Is there an NDA for severance?
I’m willing to cut an exception in this case. Nike has too many lawyers on staff to flagrantly disregard an NDA.
Share whatever you can only after obfuscating and protecting yourself.
@iqs+1pVbYGoH I get what you are saying about not wanting to make others feel bad but not talking about money (whether is bonus, severance or salary) is a terrible norm that is only in corporate interests. Sure, don’t bring up your wages at thanksgiving if it is fins make your brother feel bad, but at work we should all strive towards more transparency.
I have heard that it can be up to 1-2 weeks for every year you have been with them. No more than 40 weeks.
Re vested options: I will sell to reduce risk/exposure. Some in HYSA and live off the interest/ emergency fund if needed, then VSTAX when I have a new job
What are folks doing with their vested options? I need to make decision on it. I’m thinking about selling 100% at current price point
it depends on how long you've been with the company and what level/band you were/are. i was laid off about a year ago, was with the company for 12 years and got 6 months.
What does generous mean? 3 months salary? 6 months salary? 1 year salary?
@OP+1pVbYGoH Seems like they’re giving a bit to keep it off the WARN list. Not sure what others got so don’t want to put myself but it was generous. Although I’ve never been laid off so idk what to compare it to.
