Venezuela already has affected ExxonMobil. Our stock price has dropped $7 USD a share since 1 January 2023.

Guyana is a ticking bo-b. Maduro needs money and he is using this to get money out of all the players in O&G including Exxon. So, Venezuela will go to war if needed to get the oil money. As soon as the investors realize this XOM stock price will plunge and all these great plans Darren has will crash. Only then he'll realize that the real competitive advantage any company has is its people and their brains and their ideas. But, he's fired them all via PIP, PIL, whatever. He'll never ever accept he's made very serious strategic mistakes. And by the way, the stock price touched 98 bucks today about 10% down YTD, The strategy is working perfectly, right Darren? You are clearly creating a lot of value, like -10%.

We are the smartest in any business and only invest in stable countries like Russia, Guyana, Middle East, and China and turn over all engineering to India. Brilliant decisions. By the way, we are looking for people to go to Guyana and China, don’t worry about it, you’ll be fine.

Of course it will. Darren is worried about this. No matter what the arbitration concludes Venezuela won't agree to it unless it's what Maduro wants. If not expect big trouble down there.
