Intel accuses AMD of selling snake oil CPUs in now deleted attack

Intel has accused AMD of “selling half-truths to unsuspecting customers” by using its Zen 2 architecture in some of its latest Ryzen 7000 series mobile processors. In a now-deleted presentation to system integrators, Intel’s “Core Truths” largely focuses on AMD’s Ryzen 5 7520U mobile processor and its confusing and somewhat misleading naming.

@2soh
You ‘convince’ people by making a good product that has things that people actually want — Like battery life or low fan noise or a hundred other things.

You sound like you’re from the clown car marketing department. I guess if you have nothing of value to offer, you resort to ‘convincing’ people to look at a competitor’s product. Do you not realize how d-mb this campaign was and why it was ridiculed in the press and ultimately pulled?

I like that we are going on the attack. Been a long time. Most computer users aren’t gamers or editing video. We just have to convince the rest they want to see that Intel Inside logo.

After all the pay cuts, layoffs, and austerity, people are being paid to make nonsense slides

Those who can, innovate. Those who can't innovate, litigate; or in Intel's case, also start a smear campaign against the competition.

Intel is having trouble pushing our own cr-p and now they've resorted to a smear campaign. So pathetic...

Meanwhile, AMD has 29% server share and is on track to reach 50% in 2 years as Intel has no answer to EPYC.

Client is kind of a ‘hobby’ for AMD right now. The big bucks are coming in from servers.

Let’s see how MTL competes with AMD in 2024 client. It won’t look good for Intel from what I’ve seen.

Sounds like a normal loser behavior trying to accuse the competitors.

The pot calling the kettle black. What happened to AMD is "in the rear view-mirror?"

Intel has no idea how to compete.

Instead, the clown car marketing department generates more bad PR.

Intel is a joke in the industry.
They can no longer be taken seriously.
