CL will never be CEO. Ever. He will be the shortest lived COO in the history of CCI. Jim Young should've been CEO years ago. Please God don't let it be MK. I'm pretty sure he's unaware but that would totally solidify the below below him.

Sorry SP. Your worthless nepo days are numbered. Wishful thinking that you'll be saved with JB gone. CL will be appointed CEO after an "exhaustive" search and you'll all be unemployed. Happy trails to ya!

The majority of operations are out of SP not Houston. Lets face it Houston was chosen because that's where the emt lived. Makes more sense to close houston. That being said the nepotism is Sap has to be resolved.

Move to Florida? Comical. Highest inflation rate in the country. Inability to insure property. Failing economy. Prohibitive housing costs. High crime rate. Prone to natural disasters. Fighting w Mickey Mouse. No way Crown moves to Florida. Florida will be half under water in 50 years.

With all the confusion, folks preparing to put their properties on the market, and now JB getting booted, I would be flooding HR and BS with emails demanding immediate clarification and a pause on this Houston move. Even those affected who work out of the soon to be abandoned regional offices could go remote especially since we have shown the EMT we could do it

@2oyh+1pYBJuWK They don't need to consolidate HQ to FL or anywhere to poach talent from SBA. FL is not being affected by this move to Houston. The "move" was done solely to get rid of the hacks in SP. They can poach SBA talent and have them office out of FL or where ever they want. Elliott is still going to trim a lot of dead weight, fat etc.

@1fef+1pYBJuWK, why would it be best to consolidate in PA? Why not consolidate HQ to south Florida so you can poach talent from SBA without having them relocate. The taken from PA is what got us into this mess. Let’s get rid of them, hire the talent from a known successful tower company and be done with it.

The best thing to do at this point is to sell the Katy Hwy building. It's real estate in a market where it might actually sell. Reduce the TX presence and consolidate the main presence in PA. If Crown is to move anywhere, the company must move beyond its "Texan Captivity," home of the vast, purulent managerial bloat and LN's decade-long consolidation of power. Nothing of value was being done in Houston anyhow. But if you're for cost overruns, managers managing managers with single reports, and Purple power trips--I guess that's your margarita.

Considering the amount of time they spend fretting about abortions down there, you might think they’d notice the one they were instigating.

Ya Jay isn't gone for closing SP. The new CEO was part of that decision. Maybe they'll keep SP and move Houston to SP now that the whole EMT that lives in Houston will be gone but the downsizing is still gonna happen. Maybe if the EMT had been in SP all along then the mgr, director, VP fiasco wouldn't have happened.

The only credibility I would give this is because the current CEO is a PA native (I believe, relatively little info on him). So a TX move may not be in the cards

@1wio+1pYBJuWK Houston never was going to backfill most of those positions. They would have basically said "after evaluating staffing and the needs of the business, we feel that we are sized appropriately at this time". Do more with less and the folks that got su-kered into moving are gonna be buried with work.

Have any proof? It’s obvious that there will be more layoffs to come

The most likely outcome is that everything that was set in motion is still going to happen. SP will close and jobs will be moved to Houston. LN is definitely gone and perhaps a few more. Eliot puts a few of their people on the board and there are leadership changes throughout the company. The fiber side of the business is given a bit more time before it is determined if it is a valuable asset to Crown or not. If things don’t turn around, they sell fiber and move on.

SP will be closed. Fiber will be sold. Houston will not backfill the lost positions from SP. We are now in money saving mode. Keeping fiber, keeping SP and backfilling positions do not help us save money and protect the dividend. We’re looking for quick short term gains. Elliott is not here to appear and protect SP and fiber.
