Thread regarding Citrix Systems Inc. layoffs

when will the CSG business model be officially considered an utter failure?

It's been over a year now without a single business sold or acquired. Customers are leaving in droves. How much time does Tommy boy have left before Vista/Elliott accept this whole thing as a complete failure?

TIBCO profits were already 50% or more before the takeover. It must be in the 75% range now costs are eliminated, no more innovation, marketing, and raised prices.. real customer churn will take a few more years. Until then there’s still meet on the buffalo.
CSG business model is not a failure … it’s just not one that a normal human being wants to be in. Unless you are a hyena.
PE CEO talks a lot about ethics in the social medias…. That makes me vomit more than the business model.

Any "business model failure" is a feature, not a bug.

If you think this is about making CSG successful, you'd be wrong. This is about a pack of hyenas taking down an injured water buffalo, feeding wildly until the beast is nothing but rotting skin, and moving on to take down the next injured prey.

The only ones who benefit are the pack of hyenas & no one at Citrix is part of that pack. Including those who were inexplicably promoted to exec leadership.

It won’t because it can’t. There’s too much money betting on it, but that doesn’t include your paycheck.
