In Spain, yes, there have been layoffs.
@OP, I was U.K. commercial sales and got hit in Oct. I know a couple of others who had the same fate too.
From what I heard last, another round of sales layoffs are expected in UK and EMEA somewhere around Nov-Dec
Safe here does not exist. Where is any employee truly safe anywhere? I'm sure Enron and Bear Sterns employees thought they were quite safe.
