The geniuses in HR just purchased a multi million dollar ‘career development platform’ In the middle of cost cutting and layoffs. But hey, at least we have a machine that will suggest jobs for us to apply to and training to attend!

HR and TA can’t even do their jobs correctly, washed their hands of scheduling interviews, incompetent levels of communication to applicants, inability to communicate with stakeholders, inadequate ATS system….what a dysfunctional cluster f*ck. Who holds them accountable?
It truly is crazy to think the company would spend money on this nonsense especially when other HR systems are so bad. HR has shown time and time again that they can’t create any type of useful programs (think surveys, performance reviews, staff development, do we even have succession planning?)
@ybg+1pbtDiyU you either forgot or were not here when we had Udemy.
Is it MyLXP? No no wait, it's My training. Oh, actually it's LinkedIn Learning.
But first you have to request access via MyAccess. Um, just a sec, maybe you have to submit a MyIT request for access.
While you're in MyIT, make sure and request a download of that new software. Ah, actually I think you get it from the Schwab App Store...
@awv+1pbtDiyU first time on this site eh?
Don't bi--h about our decisions here.
Is it called “we own your tomorrow “? Gonna let me know how many people with more years at the company but less applicable skills and experience are slotted for open positions ahead of me?
This is classic. Instead of fixing broken processes and getting rid of stuff that doesn’t work they are just adding another process that will be broken and wonder why no one uses it the way they want us to. So then they’ll waste another year of planning meetings and a few more dollars to implement a new system
Looks like EC president got layed off. They deleted his apolog6 post.
OP what is this "multi million dollar ‘career development platform’" you are talking about? Any Jumpword?
Hoo boy. So let’s just pile on with the poor systems hr has? Because the new shiny myhr is so so gooood. Or the absolute pile that is mylxp or my training. Maybe we should be aiming for quality over quantity… another new program that isn’t fully thought out and bought on the cheap isn’t gonna help anyone
@pqc+1pbtDiyU the reason why you probably have not been promoted yet is because your boss doesn't know how the promotion process works. Better to just move teams then wait on them to try and figure it out
@jla+1pbtDiyU
They are already doing a good job on not promoting me. Maybe they can now tell me I have to wait a few more years to get promoted a second before I send my two weeks because other companies are offering significantly more for my experience.
….what? Why?
Was the old way of writing objectives and ignoring them not good enough
It’ll help you not get promoted faster
