180+, did our exit interviews, turned in our badges and computers. Surreal day after 6 years. In all fairness, they were quite generous in their severance package and retention bonuses. Too old to hire, too young to retire. Best to you all. Will miss the good ole' Viasat days. Peace..

Retention bonuses as stated by HR were to be paid out yesterday, 11/10. Curious if anyone got it or were there others who got screwed out of it also..

Health insurance ends the day you leave. not very generous at all. You lose your job and wake up the next day uninsured while corporate leadership collects retention bonuses. Outrageous.
Earlier post sounds like it was done by human resources. One week severance per year served is not particularly generous, especially for those who are on the older end and haven't worked there their entire career. Hard to believe anyone gets paid a retention bonus when others are getting laid off. The plan is to do this incrementally so as not to increase scrutiny. More layoffs are coming.

And some juvenile piece of garbage too cowardly to post their real name resorts to name calling for no reason.. why haven't the administrators of this site taken those comments down? Disgusting.
