I've been tossing and turning since I went to bed and I finally gave up. I'll be a mess tomorrow. I know this isn't healthy but there isn't much I can do about it. If I don't get a letter tomorrow, I know I'm in for many more sleepless nights - especially with the job market being as bad as it is.

I think we all should have resigned and moved on long ago. Lesson learned, for me.
Your lack of sleep and anxiety is a perfectly human and logical response to the amount of stress you're under. This job represents your livelihood. The fear you're experiencing is valid and deserves to be acknowledged. Thank you for having the courage to be honest and vulnerable about your feelings. You're not alone.
Bear in mind we have no idea exactly when Broadcom will be making any offers, yours might be next. Try not to worry over something well beyond your control, we've all had 18 months to prepare ourselves for whatever comes next, unless we decided to be in control and leave already.
try to relax. we have zero control over many aspects of our lives, this is no exception. just know that things will get beter. if you get let go, its already going to be a mess. no sense in also wrecking your health more with no sleep. try to take peace in the fact that you've done your part and a severence and money from cash out is available.
Only my manager got the letter in our team. I don’t think they will send anything to us.
I heard it'll be done tomorrow for everybody. Is that not true?
