And what did Kartik's pathetic bracelet have imprinted on it?
Well said:
'Can you believe this fella? He's the same guy who promoted a lawyer for all the wrong reasons. The investigation into that juicy scandal was as rigged as a game of Monopoly, and the poor attorney skedaddled because she couldn't stand her colleagues' daily chorus of eyebrow gymnastics.
You'd expect this disgraced dude to crawl under a boulder and combust from shame, right? But nope, he's being hailed as the savior of Nielsen? It's like expecting a guy who couldn't save a chicken choking on a kitchen scrap to perform brain surgery with a rusty spoon.'

I've been gone for a few years now but dude still looks like a used car salesman sl--eball, with the slickback hair and that weasel smile. Maybe he's a nice guy, I don't know. But when I used to see him slithering throughout the NYC office in his early days, I'd avoid him. At the end of the day, Nielsen, like most companies, is in the business of "selling" their stuff. I'd never buy from this guy! And btw, wtf is this nonsense new mantra "inclusion, courage and growth?" ROFL. Seriously, courage? What does any of this nonsense have to do with bringing in and keeping massive new business so the company lives on? It doesn't.
Getting tired of the executive team love fest every time on these town halls. How about acknowledging the folks that are left and highlighting the great work in the trenches that’s being done to keep us going -despite being understaffed with more layoffs hanging over our head? They are so tone deaf…
this was so poorly run, again. lmao. 10 minutes of kenny and rao back patti g each other. then weird tech gaffes non stop while they ignore all questions related to employee morale & job security & compensation. It basically boils down to working harder while under tighter scrutiny and likely monitoring and more upcoming layoffs. they can’t squeeze some departments more, there’s hardly anyone left in them. they say we need to automate more but we don’t have the resources to automate more. you need skilled staff to build that tech and our tech salaries are low compared to other companies. who is supposed to automate everything? the job market su-ks so i know i’m stuck for now and just hope to stay employed. i need the health insurance, even with how expensive it is.
“ Was there anything of substance said regarding more layoffs in 2023 or unfreeze of employee promotions or salary increases?”
No.

What a sh1tshow. Tech gaffes throughout yet wants us to believe we are able to pivot to streaming and take on the competition.
What a disappointment.
Cuts the meeting short by 15 minutes.. only answers the canned questions that they created. Cuts people off while asking the questions.. what a mess !
Karthik really wants to cut off the video questions early...
He mentioned a lot more automation.
"Need skill and scale" - we hire desperate people only in cheap market
When do I get my friendship bracelet?
"Expecting and recognizing high performance." - back to annual rank and fire
Investing in capability development. Expecting and recognizing high performance. Clarity of roles, expectations, and career pathing. - Sound like performance-measurement. Expect some sort of spy software on your computers soon.
Comprehensively simplifying our product portfolio. Radically rethinking how/where work gets done. - this sounds like more layoffs and closure of offices.
"Radically rethink how/where works get done" - more offshoring to TCS
"Create capacity for sustainable growth" - more layoffs
