Somehow this position continues on even though these people do nothing and are over paid. How does Wells Fargo cut jobs where people actually work? Our RSC never goes in the office. Never visits a branch. Is never available by phone or email to answer a question. If not on PTO is out traveling with her boyfriend. They are supposed to help Mortgage loan officers. There are few loan officers left to even help. What a waste of money!

OP How many times are you going to post this? You post the same thing every week or two. Retail Sales Consultants are the in-branch Loan Officers for Mortgage. Assuming you are talking about Sales Associates who assist either one or a few Sales Consultants (Loan Officers) and for that, take a cut of the consultant's commission. They have contracts for with the consultant and most likely why a few are still around. Believe it or not, there are still Sales Consultants out there closing enough loans to need assistants. Maybe try understanding what you are complaining about first before becoming a keyboard warrior and reposting over and over.
This place is a joke. I see managers deliberately filling up their schedules with meetings they don’t and can’t contribute to just to project a perceived contribution. It’s all about how you manage up. Senior management has no clue how resources are being mismanaged by their directs.

I agree, the RSC in my market we barely hear anything from him. We get some emails and he is on some conference calls, but that is about it. I have no idea what they do. They were the person to help prepare and get branches ready for inspection, but not sure, that may be only thing they do now.
Worthless job is right. These people are overpaid and half the time know nothing since they were never in sales. Get rid of them and save $$$$$$
Sales is a money generating position. They will always have these jobs as this is the job that produces revenue for the company. I feel by this post you were hopefully let go and anyone that thinks like you should be let go also
