The institutions that run AT&T is Vanguard and Blackrock, in that order. Those two corporations are the ones that filed a 13D/G with the SEC.

We workers run AT&T. They would be stuck in the water without an oar without us. We make communications work.

“ The Blackstone boss, whose firm is the single largest commercial and residential landlord in the US and maybe the world”
This is all you need to know about why everyone had to RTO. This guy is on most BoD’s and demanded it to save his company’s portfolio. Before this clown got all nervous all the companies were reducing their CE holdings and crowing about how much they were savings. RTO is about appeasing Blackrock and that’s it.

I work harder from home. I make sure by messing around all day when I’m in the office.

Did I say messing around. I mean collaborating.

and saved money on commutes, lunches and expensive work clothes.

This is what they're really upset about. Don't have to waste 2 hours a day in traffic, buy expensive unhealthy lunches in the cafeteria, and go out to buy new clothes all the time.

Remote workers probably work 100x harder than any CEO in this Country.

I really don't want to hear complaints from the class of people who do very little work at all, but reap all the rewards. These id--ts tend to forget that without the people actually DOING the work, they don't have a Company to leech off of.

Schwarzman is not the most objective observer. His fortune depends on rumps in seats at properties he owns.

Would a landlord would support policies that drive tenants away? That's not how they make money.

Sorry for commercial real-estate's woes, in the same way I am for buggy-whip manufacturers.

With current inflation through the roof, heaven forbid people reduce their carbon footprint and save money on commutes, lunches, and expensive work clothes. Subjective comments on someone else's workload would be better informed coming from that person's direct supervisor, rather than an out of touch CEO whose business is to fill buildings with people.

Today, Blackstone billionaire CEO Steve Schwarzman shared that insight when he revealed that part of the reason workers are proving difficult to lure back to offices is because they enjoy a lighter workload at home while saving money.

The Blackstone boss, whose firm is the single largest commercial and residential landlord in the US and maybe the world, said people profited from remote work as they found "they didn’t work as hard regardless of what they tell you" and saved money on commutes, lunches and expensive work clothes.
