There’s nothing “racist” about pointing out that many people at this company (not just the EC) were hired solely because of their “diversity”. It’s on the COO scorecard folks. All other areas as well I’m guessing. All I’m saying is if you want your Fortune 100 financial services company to operate with the efficiency of the DMV then staff it like the DMV.

I understand this comment and frustration, but leadership has chosen to "be the change" at any and all costs, while thumbing their nose at the day-to-day business and customers that brought them here.

You’ve got to remember that none of these people were hired because they were the most qualified. They were hired because of their skin color or gender.

If you had to pick a Demographic of people LEAST likely to watch the Superbowl, University professors and academics would be near the bottom of the list. This company is completely screwed up. The executive team has hardly any time at TIAA, they are all brought in from other firms, many having nothing to do with Financial Services. The Chief Administrative Officer used to be the Business office manager for P. Diddy, for crying out loud. The marketing person came from some cheezy online menswear company and the Chief Digital officer came from a personal tax software business. THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT QUALIFIED. I can't wait to see the next set of financials. The last one was bad enough. Revenue down, assets down, Net profit negative.....great job executive team. Great job. Taste the rainbow, folks. Taste the rainbow.
