Thread regarding Fidelity National Information Services Inc. layoffs

Is there a company that defecates more on its employees?

Times get tough and one of the first things they do is put the screws to the little guy. When is the last time the peons got a raise? Look at what they did to the ESPP match. And spouses are not permitted to have coverage on the cafeteria health insurance plan if they can get coverage through their employer. What kind of cr-p is that?

The firm deserves the lack of productivity that comes with a hybrid work environment.

Oh well, when morale drops low enough, the cheap b@st@rds, will give everyone a free lunch to smooth things over. The id--ts from on high really care about the little guy.

It is not going to be nonsense to the laid off people who cannot find a decent job and have to work at Walmart or in an Amazon warehouse in order to feed themselves and maybe keep a roof over their head.

Did HR require some of you to reply with this "other people have it worse" nonsense? Two things can be true. FIS can be one of the worst FinTech companies to work for AND other industries can be worse than FinTech.

LOL at the brainwashed responding in this thread. Remind yourself of these replies the next time FIS sells itself as a fintech. No fintech worth anything would parade its garbage benefit package around as best in class. Would McKinsey who runs the company offer the same cr-p to its employees? N.O.

There are worse companies to work for. In some lousy jobs people never get a raise. Many people, well educated, are forced to work multiple part time jobs just to survive. No company is perfect, but there are definitely worse positions to be in. Try minimum wage construction jobs, food delivery, retail stores, working in a warehouse, or pest control.

“Most companies do not give their employees free lunches. Please appreciate what you have. Many people have far bigger issues.”

Are you really this obtuse? Do you actually believe this is a regular occurrence? You obviously have no idea what you’re talking about.

The point is when morale is in the tank, the company offers employees a free meal to shut them up rather than deal with the underlying problem (remember the contamination issue in St. Pete a several years ago?). I’m pretty sure employees would appreciate a bigger paycheck or better treatment than some shyt on a shingle and jello. Shows how little executive leadership thinks of the underlings…”we’ll give you a $10 freebie now go away and leave us alone”.

"And spouses are not permitted to have coverage on the cafeteria health insurance plan if they can get coverage through their employer. What kind of cr-p is that? "

This is not exclusive to FIS. This is happening in most cases where spouses have health coverage offered by their employer.
