Any idea of what is expected to happen in the next round of layoffs after this?
Laid off yesterday after 12 years. Was on medical leave past the 12 weeks for FMLA. I'm not surprised they chose me because legally they could.
Laid off yesterday. Part is Schwab Advisor Center priduct team. Didn’t see it coming. Will take advantage of retraining programs.
I was let go this morning, along with 3 others from my direct team and my manager.

Not "old news", just trying to keep my expectations set so I can plan to move accordingly if need be. For the last few years, I've been told to "keep your resume updated" and now that it is finally going down, I want to make sure that if I'm likely to be effected then it won't blindside me, etc. you get what I mean I'm sure.
But seriously, I hope people that are affected, aren't taking it hard and are taking steps to move on to bigger and better things. this definitely isn't the end of the road that's for sure.
Months of waiting and speculating for layoffs, and this OP is already moving on to the next round, lol, already old news? Geeze
The first round of layoffs just barely started this morning and will continue today/tomorrow and possibly into November, given the #s that are planned. So, no, no one has any clue what is expected in a 2nd round yet.
