Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

The gap has narrowed

TMO now has 71,000 employees. VZ has 100,500.
Was 75k to 117k.

Craig won't stop until we have the same number of below.

Let them have 200K employees....They're just another boat in the same pool of water as Verizon.

I don't care how pretty or big their boat is ...they will all go up and down at the same rate in the same water...and when that water drops... they will just have more people to let go.

Please show me where the real growth is in wireless telephones these days.

check your numbers OP, Vz still has just over 110K. Will go down a bit tomorrow with the HCL deal, but still over 100K.

Check your numbers... wireline is not declining but holding its own.

@kpe+1plLoooT - Wireline is slowly dying out, not an advantage to keep headcount for declining revenue

The same number as the far superior T-Mo, why that is just plain Silly Man. He will make it less so he can be more.

Apples and oranges. VZ has lines of business like wireline which TMO does not have.
