Intel is dying . Just hoping for the best on some new medicine to postpone the inevitable break up and death as a global tech leader . 20 years ago I was proud to work for Intel. Now I am embarrassed

Stupid customers will use Intel manufacturing again. It even failed to make its own in house chips design. How can it make outside customer chips design a success without any proven record?

How big is the IFS wet dream fabs?

The whale Foundry has 120,000 wafers of N5 if you assume 500 good die per wafer they make three quarter of a billion chips. They are putting in place similar capacity on N3 and N2 for Apple, AMD, Nvidia, Qualcomm, MediaTek and likely all the big cloud and socials media companies too. What minnow is left for Intel.

The total x86 market is what south of 300M and the most lucrative server owned by AMD.

Intel won’t be relevant unless it gets Qualcomm or MediaTek exclusively and no way would either company be so stupid to sign up with a company with Intels track record.

IFS has as much chance to succeed as did Symbian or Microsoft Windows Phone
