Reality is beginning to sink in after the initial numb period. Should’ve taken the job search more seriously rather than the lackadaisical half-assed effort I put into it.
Now I have only one goal to focus on. Without this kick in the a-s I may never be able to man up and move my career forward instead of being kicked around by management. I think this may prove a blessing, even though it hurts now.
This company is not worth losing sleep over. I’m about to sleep like a baby. Something will work itself out. It is totally understandable to be upset. Sorry OP that cr-ppy leadership is causing you this much pain. If you can, don’t give them the power to affect your sleep and peace.
Sorry OP. I know what you’re going through. I was laid off today too. We will figure it out. Don’t beat yourself up too much. You’re focusing on the right thing now and that is what matters.
