Despite certain leadership claiming there were no more layoffs occurring this year there most certainly are. Just yesterday I was made aware of people within the Sambar org who were notified and will be off payroll after 11/3. I know of two whom had agreed to relocate. This company doesn’t care about you or your family. The colossal sc--w up of Stephenson and Stanley have led this disaster. Do not relocate for this company , do not go beyond the bare minimum. You won’t be rewarded anyone and your loyalty means nothing.

How many will Sambar sack this year? Isn't it really time to sack Sambar? I think so.

AT&T dumping them before they do the agreed move is actually a good thing. Think of how they would feel if they spent all that money to move, disrupted their family and then got sacked. Not good.
Can they do that?
Go on insider and search “surplus 2023” it will give you a calendar of when layoffs will happen. The only month without a date is Dec. so yeah , fasten your seatbelt Nov 15 is the next round - for this year

They were supposed to be sent last week, then Monday, then today, now delayed? Wth?

That’s funny, right there. You must of not worked here long to think they will stop nepotism, favoritism and apply the rules evenly.
People (favorites) in Sambar org working from buildings no one else is in… how is that collaboration?
It’s not. VP trying to convince higher ups these people are special and can’t be replaced.
People working from buildings that aren’t even open or have no other people in org.
In the meantime people from key locations being let go or forced to move.
Stop the preferential treatment - it’s doing more harm than good. Apply the rules consistently.
Layoffs till Wall Street is happy, stock goes up, then exercise stock options and retire with the golden parachute. Life of an elite, no consequences only compensation and a retirement of Riley, no matter their performance. Just the serfs suffer, the Lords are above that station.
I have heard the ultimate target for the entire company is 40-60K in three years. Leadership hopes many reductions through retirements and rest by layoffs. Some orgs have 30% target reduction and others a little more or less. I’ve heard some orgs had 60% reduction targets but were scaled back after further assessments. We’ve been told we will do “less with less” but it’s been more with less…
They’re not layoffs. They signed the adea age disclaimer not to sue fair and square per the stank.

Just because you agree to relocate, there is no job guarantees. Make sense to not pass the trash and accommodate those employees that are not performing

Needs of the business. Layoffs will not be stopping. Wave 2 will more than likely be accelerated.
