Pensions are no longer a thing outside of unionized companies. And as we know here we we all wound up with vastly different pensions from those promised..

Even after the Bank’s last cut when they announced that under ERISA there could be no further cuts, they cut one last time when they farmed it out to the external insurer.

The formula before the 7 cuts was 1% for year of your last salary. I received Pennies on the dollar after 40 years. The crying shame was that the pay was never good and the pension was the great equalizer.

Never trust a benefit at BNYN.
