I’m looking for a new job, I just found out I am pregnant and the upcoming layoffs have me worried now. Ugh

Also I took 7 weeks of short term disability this year, was not “meeting expectations” and they still didn’t lay me off…
Peter Crawford said today in Finance AMA that yes, there are going to be more layoffs but they will be “much smaller and targeted to integration-related teams”.
Isn’t it illegal to terminate:lay off for maternity?

Just sue them. I’m currently using the DOL to get tons of unpaid OT back. I love America!
If you’ve recently taken some sick time, you’re at a higher likelihood of getting laid off. No matter how positive your performance reviews are.
1 not sure if more layoffs really coming.
2 they absolutely laid off women who are currently pregnant and people on parental leave…
so just plan for it if you think more layoffs on the horizon
