Most people don’t have “garden leave” requirements.
You’ll get 60-90 day WARN payout though if laid off. So a non working period while still on the payroll, after that you get severence
wtf? can't you just like, resign?
You are contractually unable to work for Citi or another employer. Makes it tough looking for a new job. Garden leave is criminal.
do you have to work for those 60 days? it sounds like a security risk
@1zwd+1pzoPfE1, is it just 60 days only or 60 days + 2 weeks for every year of service? Any idea??
If you get laid off, you still get paid for another 60 days. There should be no paycheck ending on the 18th. You would get a paycheck on the 24th like everyone else. Don’t panic!
Shame on Citi for what they are doing! Just tell the people who’s in and who’s out. So many dedicated employees who have given their all.
You might also get a payroll with $0 net if you recently got some gratitude award points so maybe check that before assuming you're getting laid off
What is the 18th suppose to mean? Not sure how that indicates layoffs.
So, if you don’t have one for the 18th, you’re safe? Not sure why that would be an indicator of anything?
Mine is also no net that's because they are still working on them. You will see that on a normal pay period when they are working on payroll.
I got a paystub for the 18th with $0 net. What does that mean?
Everyone may want to go out and look to see if they have a payslip for a Period End Date of 11/18/23, that will give you a clue if you are getting laid off.
I am hearing this week. My guess is the 15th based on seeing others throw that date out.
