App Dynamics was a bad acquisition when it happened as are most Cisco acquired companies. The investment bankers rated Splunk as a hold with not a robust outlook so Cisco buys them for a premium with a $1B+ deal cancellation fee.
No one should be surprised with the serious stock decline with the inability of business units to develop a long time strong business and having Robbins and his ELT in place. They all have to go if the company is to have a chance for a viable future.
does anyone even try to sell APPD, its such a POS trainwreck, cant even keep a straight face when using it in a FSO discussion, thankfully we have SPLUNK now.
RIP appd. At one point, it was a great tool. Then Cisco acquired it. Hope splunk doesn't go the same way
