After looking at a few new postings for “Lead” business execution consultants or lead control consultants it appears that the P4 job level is now starting at $96,600 whereas before it always started at $111,000. Nice way to try and lowball candidates. As if it isn’t bad enough that they sc--w over internal candidates on salary over external ones, now trying to quietly reduce the pay range. Ugh…

Who cares???!!! This is a layoff site. Stop whining
They cut the salaries across the board during the recent job title changes charade. Senior Lead used to be $215k MRP back when that was still a thing. Now you'll be lucky to get $170k in that role.
I’m a Lead BEC, has starred at 96,600 for at least a year if not since Jon architect change
I am one of those worthless BECs. I guess business continuity and resiliency (ensuring the bank can function if say a data center goes down) isn’t important. What a twit.
OP is wrong.
Lead BEC/TBSC has always been 96-171 and change, which is pay grade 120.
Lead ISA/ORO/CMO are 111-197 and change, which is pay grade 130. They're all classified under the larger P4 family.
It doesn't take a lot of digging to come up with this info.
OP is just plain wrong, it's always been $96k
Oh just wait until they move loads of people again between Operations and Non Operations segregation, get rid of duplicative groups (hello, CL Shared Services) change the actual job you do
today to something completely different next year and change job titles (once again). Will definitely be lowered again.
WF $hit$how
The pay cut is due to the bank figuring out that these "business execution consultants" don't really do anything. Paste other people's work into PowerPoint slides, etc. You could pay someone 50k or less for the same output.
could be area differentrial depending on the primary location for the role. also, salary isn't tied to the job level it's tied to the compensation grade
It always started at $96k for nation wide, but doesn't include bonus.
Sounds like an area differential situation
