Anyone knows if layoffs will be announced this week? If so, which day?
I wonder if it would be a last min meeting or they’d schedule in advance?

@txz+1pzw3Qum I agree. They are rude right now and unfriendly. I'm basically in F them mode. I know they are under stress. Well, everyone else is too. So sc--w them and I'm not stressing myself or my family out about this anymore. Citi has to have different leadership and WANT to get better. Not the same ole same ole. BAU isn't working anymore.
Working at Citi su-ks now. Managers are distant and outright unfriendly. Nasty place.
Would not recommend to anyone.
I have a feeling this is happening at the higher levels this week. I don’t think the masses will happen until January/February. The new leaders are going to need to evaluate their organizations before going down levels.
I do not have confidence in the company to not operate in 'very poor taste' or bad form when it comes to anything at this point.
In a previous digital org they once announced on a Friday that there would be layoffs on the Monday. Monday every one had a 1-1 with their manager and either came out happy or upset.
I’ve also heard of layoffs on a Friday because then folks had the weekend to cool off, less office gossip. So really, who knows. Could be whenever your manager has the meeting with their senior then time to meet with you.
Layoffs historically have occurred the third Wednesday of the month based upon our biweekly pay schedule. It would be in very poor taste to do it during the Thanksgiving Week.
No idea what day ( maybe wed?) but normally you get a last minute meeting invite with your manager.
It's possible it could be this week, next week or the last week of November.
Not sure how it's done if they schedule a meeting in advance or not.
I have no idea. I hope someone has some helpful insight soon.
