Strategically what it shows me is that Mikey has no idea what’s good for his investors. VMWare is worth way more from a product portfolio perspective. But Mikey is looking at the short term - how to put cash in his pocket. He’s always been a short term guy - look at his investments and how he runs the company. Same people doing the same stuff.

So Dell spins off VMware in Nov of 2021, Broadcom buys them out in Nov of 2023 and lays off a bunch of (redundant?) people and it's Dell's fault?

Be ready to get flamed for this post.....i posted the same thing a few days ago and all the crybabies came out in force.

It is definitely worth posting about. MD makes his billions selling vmware and then vmware is laying off over 500 people in Austin. Merry Christmas.
