If an MD has been offline for two weeks with no OOO on, is it safe to assume they are gone? Within Risk.

just tell us the name, and we will confirm or deny
You can look the person via Teams and if there's been no activity for a few weeks they've probably hit the road. They don't have to have OOO on. We had some levels below MDs just disappear. Eventually, people will be called an 'unknown user'.
it's true if you email them and get an auto reply about their mailbox being full it means they are gone. Additional clues are when you email them over several days or weeks and their mailbox is still full from an auto-reply. Their mailbox is full for days if not weeks?? Only if the employee is terminated.
Post ID: @eci+1q2fEzOQ : 2 weeks off is mandatory only for front office employees. The original post is related to an MD in Risk... No mandatory holidays in Risk I am afraid...

No.
In some areas of the firm two weeks in a row out of the office is mandatory, traces back to risk management technique used in Europe. Thought is that any potential issues that person may be hiding will appear and become visible if they are not around to suppress them.
I don’t think it is a safe assumption. Lot of folks don’t care about OOO message
