What do you think of BL being “terminated” today versus having resigned?

To attempt answering the poster's question, it may be that if he resigns, he has to give BP up to a year's notice which would mean they would have to keep paying him. According to the UK Daily Mail's 'This is Money' page, BL is in a 'bad place'. I wonder if he will appeal against BP's decision. It could be that within the next few days more details come out because the UK press are notorious for gossip. Perhaps now BL knows how it feels for the BP employees he laid off, and the BP pensioners whom he treated with so much disdain.
