Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Meeting Schedule

My calendar is filling fast, but if someone needs to call an emergency meeting, I can possibly squeeze you in. Everyday I have the normal 08:00, followed by a 09:00, followed by a 10:00, and finally an 11:00. Lunch is from noon to 1 and I have a small window from 1 to 1:15. Then the 2:00 starts. Followed by the 3:00, 4:00 and then I leave for the day.

HR won’t let managers fire people working remotely. So they have to bring us back to try to get rid of poor performaners.

Oh yes, let's have a meeting to see who can wear the craziest hat, then a meeting to post our summer vacation pics. And another meeting to send pics of our pets. Then a meeting for each to determine the best ones. All this nonsense actually goes on and it's ridiculous.

What is the status on remote employees, are they returning to the office? What is the message being sent to hybrid employees that are ignoring the three day in the office request?

Look, until management gets on board employees are going to continue to take advantage of their supervisor not being in the same office, let alone state, to micro manage them. You could provide free hot lunch, hot stone massage, jacuzzis and the latest and greatest in tech and furniture, IT WILL NOT MATTER!! They won’t come back. The only thing that would is cutting the pay on those that choose to stay home.

Professional meeting attender checking in...

Let's sync up on this...I'll schedule multiple recurring weekly syncs with slightly differing attendees at each one where we can sync on this and other topics. Then we can sync up at our weekly sync of syncs to discuss these topics again with the wider audience.

Classic bank schedule. Every two weeks, meet with the boss. They ask why you aren't getting anything done.

I feel this to my core! Day starts at 7:30, first meeting at 9:00 and booked solid through 3:00, quick potty break (don't forget to mute the 3:00 to 3:30) start back up at 4:00 and then booked straight through to 6:00. Eat dinner, log back in and try to DO my job from 6:00 - 10:00pm all while hearing I am returning to office.....
