Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Were people targeted who got the threatening email about 3-2 work schedules?

Does anyone know if these were targeted emails to people who the business is hoping to get rid of? I feel like they were since I know people who definitely don’t follow the 3-2 schedule and didn’t get the email. I’m just curious if anyone else has the same observation.

It's not personal. It's purely done by metric. A stellar employee got one because they were working nights temporarily. Scared the cr-p out of them.

The 3+ violation was one way to get rid of employees. My manager allowed me to work remotely to complete a very important project and then put me in a PIP for some trivial reason such as someone was saying something about me....the 3+ policy violation was one of the reasons for PIP. Got fired without severance. Scre---w Fu---Well

Everyone should be on a 5-0 schedule. Get in the office you lazy people. Our shareholders need us now more than ever.

Unless you have a diversity box checked in peoplesoft you are a target. Ps diversity has nothing to do with gender , race, disability, it has everything to do with photographs shown on web sites and at conferences with investors.

Definitely not targeted. I know at least one case where it was solely due to an unusually large amount of business travel. The whole thing is mo--nic.

RED does not know that you have permission from your manager or that you are on company business, it is just a poorly written AI program by IT. As for "For Cause" in any unemployment filling, the state ask for information from both sides, as it receives it, then asking the other for clarification. The state can then make a decision in favor of unemployment or not. If you do not like the outcome you can always appeal and go to arbitration. Which will then ask for information from both sides and make a ruling. The company would have to prove that you where not doing your job as the intention of the company rule. If you are traveling for company or on a long vacation or working from home due to agreement with your manager, then the company would not have anything to stand on. Honeywell just likes to make you think it knows, when it really does not.
Or you could get a second computer and connect it at work and leave it signed in all the time. This will drive their IT nuts.

The loathsome failure will continue to put the screws to those who kept it afloat.

Indeed, next year is a planned purge year. They have been lining up their ducks if you have not noticed.

I don’t think anyone specifically was targeted. However, if they want an excuse and you got the email? NOW you’re a target. They’ll no doubt put eyeballs on you. The “for cause” language In there is a get out of jail for free card for Honeywell. They can use it to sc--w you out of any severance they might give, or from collecting any unemployment benefits. All things that save them $$ in the ongoing RIFs that never end here. Absolute bottom of the barrel sc-mbag company. Remember Honeywell hates its employees. You are a liability, only senior management holds value here.

Nope. Just automated. Red probably detected you as a slacker because you have not logged in from the office enough.. I think if it continues your manager will get an email and be asked to explain. I am sure they will love the extra work this automated process brings them...

Talked to my manager about this since I was going to miss several weeks in December due to business travel and vacation. He said it is automated and goes right past managers without their input.
