Thread regarding Citigroup Inc. / Citibank / Citi layoffs

vendor consultants enjoy more than employees

Vendor Consultants doesn’t seem worried about layoffs. They don’t have to show up in office and get good medical benefits

Nope to the OP. Heard from few people that many consultants lost their job and unable to find another project or work, some of them are returning to their country as outside job market is too bad for them to get a job now, most of the consultants are unable to maintain their H1B status and leaving to their home country. At their home country also have bad market situation, it’s sad to see people struggling.

Most Vendor consultants are visa holders and are paid less. They bring completely outdated technologies from India and China to US based Citi.

They are a vendor. Why would they be concerned about anything internal? You do understand they are not employees, right?
