Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

EMHC still not leased

I am not expecting it to happen anytime soon either. What a bunch of lies.

The plan was to close the empty buildings. What they didn't realize is that my colleague has ties to the local health inspector. Closing buildings like that has strict requirements. XOM Mgmt snakes won't weasel out of the situation easily! Keep the fight going!

Hotdesking implemented same year as $59 billion profit achieved several goals:

Justified KM bonus
Pi---d off employees
With no office, employees can be fired and just walk out with the backpack of items walked in with that morning-unnoticeable

No money saved in abandonment of buildings because HVAC must remain on to avoid mold

Don’t think you’re special…, Florham Park, Toronto, Fairfax……. It’s the Culture of Caring😂

And no one has ever questioned management spending $4-6 billion? for the Houston campus. (There never was a project cost made public - just word of mouth.)

There were plans to move CSR to Houston but that seems to have changed and now the plan it’s to just let it’s slowly disappear.

Maybe they’ll make a building available for the full time rotation of BTC/KLTC kindergarten experts.

Some have speculated there was never an intention to lease but rather to make room for the Denbury and Pioneer staff, you know until they are used for PIP fooder.

Such a huge waste of money forcing the movement of groups. Easily could have waited until a bldg was actually leased.

But I’m sure someone got a promotion from it.
