Any idea on upcomming RIFs? I received 2Gs which def looks like a RIF strategy after a year of good performance?

You have been setup for poor performance, and fired for which the firm WILL NOT pay severance. Your director and managing director's have been directed to give 30% of staff with 2 G's to 3 G's to fire them based on performance to not PAY severance. Good luck.
You are probably correct they are setting you up to be easy target when needed. Or they are trying to pi-s you off so you leave on your own.
Either way, look at the writing on the wall and start looking now. Maybe you can get lucky and get a package and a new job quickly after.
2 G means you should plan your exit strategy because they're already planning it gor you.
Higher managements aren’t humans so you can get laid off regardless of the review. Remember, you won’t get fired but layoffs are different things
I got 2 strong 1 on track but I met all my metrics in that category …strange
