Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

the question nike should be asking itself is how did things get so bad employees have to use this site to maintain any sanity. a lot of management needs to be fired for this but as usualy take no responsibility and instead victim blame

I can sleep like a baby, eat great and stressed free. Executives care a lot! They are so financially set that they’re enjoying life which is great. It makes me happy for them. The haves is what makes this world great. Let's work hard together! We can do it! Or better yet, just do it! Nike is one of the best, most prestigious company. That is whey we work at Nike in the first place. Remember that!

I can’t sleep, eat right and am stressed out. None of the executives care. They are so financially set that they’re disconnected from the real world and people. It makes me sick. The haves and the have nots. So depressing.

Watch the patterns. I’ve been on here since October after my team was down sized. Repeat posts on “get off this site “, removing posts and other tactics. It’s not right. This is or should be a place for us all to vent. IT’S supposedly, ANONYMOUS! I’m still scared! Nike HR, ER and legal are on this site. I’ve heard rumors some are being told to post. Who knows what’s true anymore. I just want to feel safe.

Nike should treat us better so they wouldn't have to work so hard to keep us silent.

And just a reminder to folks that if you use your personal phone to access Nike's corporate portal (eg. slack, email), the terms were that you agreed to allow Nike to access your personal phone for business reasons. This means Nike has the right to go through your files on your phone, including photos. For example, if Nike suspects you are using your phone to take pictures of source code or Nike emails, they have the right to wipe out those photos remotely.

This highlights an issue that I think is key - you shouldn’t be looking at this site or posting on it using your Nike laptop. Develop an existence that is not dependent on company issued devices. Those who suffer the most from being laid off are those who use their Nike laptop for all sorts of personal stuff, and only have one phone for Nike and personal life.

I noticed that too! Well done OP. A few weeks ago we had a meeting with a VP who openly threatened us if we post anything, they will find out by tracking our IP and that is a violation of Nike policy and base for termination! He said that

I’ve noticed this and thought it was odd. I’ve never seen this before until recently. Good catch. Why the games? Not so anonymous. Let us vent! That’s somewhat healthy.
