Why the need for this thread at Chevron? Don't we have a hybrid schedule already? We adopted 9/80 years ago and most people worked from home on their Friday's on pre pandemic. It's not going away BUT don't expect full remote. As others commented, some positions can be done fully remote but there is a ceiling on those!

@mje, You certainly will never become a high level manager because you are a linear thinker. High level managers and problem solvers think in a 360 degree radius. Some laymen would refer to it as “Thinking outside the box”. It’s not about basic math in this case.

At some point, some high level manager will do the basic math and see the vast cost savings of reducing their office footprint. Just a matter of time.
