Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

If WHQ is closed, we get the day off right? I’m 4-1.

Can’t expect us to work in office and then shut it down on us. Seems like we are still working fine from home…

@rya+1qDkwN2l spot on. I 100% agree. come on guys whats wrong with you. Just because Nike adopted 4-1 approach you should not be thinking like that.

@ rya+1qDkwN2l HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA like it would make a difference.

Nike is doing this purely for tax avoidance purposes because they will owe Portland and Beaverton a shitload of money if we all keep working outside of unincorporated Washington county.

They would also have to actually subsidize our healthcare.

Thanks for that laugh, i needed it.

If we want Nike to be flexible with us when we need to WFH when we have a sick kid to to meet a contractor at our house, then we should be flexible when Nike asks us to WFH because it's dangerous to drive. It goes both ways. If you all say you can WFH just fine, then show it today.

That is how it worked in the past. Not sure what has changed that caused ppl to assume they have to work when the office they force us to work in is closed down.
