I have a 6 month contract in Risk Dept in NYC. What are the chances of my contract being renewed? I'm sure they save lots of money on payroll taxes, and benefits....

High cost external resource in a high cost location. Would think top of my list of expense reduction targets.
You might be ok if the risk work you are doing is under Transformation or a Consent Order. Contractors are under a different P&L. Good luck!

Many contractors in London have been laid off. Your chance probably is high. I am really sorry to say this....
