SMG folks don’t forget to bring your swimsuit. We are going to have a pool party and cold beer, learning about value based selling. Remember take a lot of pictures

I disagree with OP - please do NOT take pictures. I don't need the images of these clowns in swimsuits seared in my brain.
I hope the marketing team gets laid off and we get some new talent in there, everything they do is cringe AF.
It’s hard to understand the envy. Many, if not most, Intel jobs are already a full blown cruise except for an actual ship. Lighten up folks.
Would you really want to go on an Intel sponsored cruise? Most team building events are already a waste of time. This is a multi day trip where you can’t get away from the obnoxious people you have to work with… no thanks. That’s not work life balance. In any case, this was a boneheaded management decision showcasing that they don’t really believe in the values they preach.
Face it, Intel is a slowly sinking ship.
If the captain is an Intel guy, keep life vest on and an eye on the raft.
This is why I switched from engineering to sales.
We make more money and do it while goofing off, and don't really need to know anything.
Sending a group of employees on a high profile waste of money cruise is testament to the poor management decisions this company is executing. One more colossally d-mb choice to add to the ever growing list. Fortunately this one is only costing single digit millions but it has pi$$ed off a large portion of the workforce which can’t be quantified in dollars wasted.
And how, exactly, does "stay in you lane" coincide with the One Intel value?
Stay in your lane
What an absolute slap-in-the-face to all employees who sacrificed during austerity. Rank and file get rewarded with a atta-boy while sales gets to go on a cruise.
