Thread regarding JPMorgan Chase & Co. layoffs

Should you hire here?

Do you want to have a manager who presents your work as their own? Do you want to have a manager who does not care are about? Do you want to be another brick in the wall? Do you want a role in technology where middle and upper management have no background in technology? Do want to work in place with no chance for a promotion? Do you want to feel that work you is not important? Do you want to work in place where it takes the manager a week to provide inputs for your current project? Do you want to work in place where there is no appreciation for your work? Do want to work in place where any career aspirations are squashed? Do you want to work have a manager who feels threatened by you? Then accept a position with CCB Utilities.

If CCB is undergoing RIF, then I will stay away from it. It seems like a terrible place.

Yeah, I heard about a manager in Utilities who had 3 employees resign 6 moths after being hired. Nothing has been done to correct the situation. There is even an open position for his team.

Well said, but so many more than just Utilities! When bonus and raise are based on TTC, you know something is wrong…
