I am curious why LN’s departure wasn’t announced on the earnings call.
So LN gets to stay on as a consultant through June. I am betting her consultant company, Rio Advisors, is involved. They are just grabbing hands full of cash as they go out the door.
Getting rid of LN won’t solve all of Crowns problems. Making money will.
Don’t get me wrong, I think LN was evil. But often it feels like she took a lot of the blame and hate off of JB like he was hapless while she was moving the puppet. I don’t buy that. He ran the company into the ground and she was just the loyal minion marshaling his plans. Don’t forget she only exits because of JB.
LN could careless about what any CC 'subordinates' think of her and the destruction she has done to CC. She's also an 'advisor' now and still raking in big money, plus the big money from donations at her church, plenty of monopoly money to burn through at the expense of actual workers.
The corporate structure always has been designed to grossly reward the personal pals of people who cost companies millions upon millions of dollars...while providing very little to no substantial/meaningful contributions, besides being a complete sociopath.
That being said, karma will catch up to her, eventually!
Now they need to layoff everyone in canonsburg like how they were planning to do!
This is the best news that's happened at crown since the GTP acquisition. Finally they might make progress in the right direction. That woman was responsible for so many of the problems
