What’s the real purpose AMV is driving towards? All she does is driving Techinical Product Managers towards creating a bunch of artifacts. Is there any real value generated or purpose from this organization? One of the most ineffective leadership and org with not much purpose built during RL’s time.

Seems awful sad that you are rooting for an entire organization of people to be let go. I love our TPMO. There are some brilliant people delivering amazing value to the business in the products they own. I don't know about the GT VP in this area, perhaps that is the bloat you speak of.

The design team led by SS in TPM organization should be laid off completely, they don’t have a clue what they are doing. The business teams have their own design teams.

Fudge me, the TPM group isn’t even capable of identifying all the teams involved in a Nike business process … yet alone what the process is or what the flow is

Considering TPM received some of if not THE lowest AES scores of any organization at Nike I would say congratulations to the leadership for creating an entire org that is not only severely disliked by every part of the company that has to interact with it BUT is ALSO highly disliked by the actual people IN the org. That's certainly worthy of some sort of recognition...is there a MINIMUM Award that can be given out? Lose as a Team?
AL is the worst. She could not plan her way out of a wet paper bag. She is just a Nike brown noser.
What in the world is TPM?? I don’t work in corporate, so I’m a bit lost at some of the WHQ acronyms…
Many of the actual TPMs are adding significant value (my eng team relies heavily on ours), it’s AVM’s bloated center team under AL that are worthless overhead. That center team makes up the artifacts to try to show value which just keeps the TPMs from doing the parts of their jobs that actually add value. I hope they keep the Dir on down TPMs and get rid of the leadership, center org, and move the TPM doers back into Engineering.

speaking of the design team in TPM, Sr Dir of design is a joke and has no clue what she’s doing. SS and AMV are forcing everybody to use the design system and artifacts but don’t understand how to truly create value with them. they are burning that org to the ground and nike execs are clueless at how much money is being wasted by them for producing nothing essential over the past couple years to help push the company forward
Oh god, if I have to sit through another all-hands with AMV talking about her marathon running I swear I’m just going to walk out. All-hands meetings with AMV lack so much value and feel like the worst version of a super generic PTA meeting that you would see in a terrible movie.
AMV enables some of the worst ideas and leaders. A great example is the design team who is burning cash going in circles, while also wasting time on building a design system with ZERO strategy or vision.
Heads up, if you know about EDS it's going to be forced onto all your tools.

Oh my god! look the org structure under her...such a bloated organization with 0 value. recently we had a meeting of product team for discussing some scope. one of the lady from this organization joined and just sitting d-mb...and dropped after like 30 mins. this team needs to go for sure. dont blame them though...its all nuisance created by RAT.
That entire TPM org will be laid off beleive me.
AMV is one of the least knowledgeable Vice Presidents at Nike, which shows that many VPs lack qualifications for their roles. Central services like TPM do not create value, which is why they have to make many artifacts. The priorities and goals of TPM will be different from those of the teams they support.

I could never understand why AMV never adopted more of a product approach to the TPM org. Where are the artifacts that show TPM's value outside of what artifacts are done?
Andrea is the best leader we have. Those who think it is artifacts only just do not get it.
