Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

relocation enforcement

Wondering if those that were hired pending relocation within the last three years are being harassed by HR to relocate by this summer.

There’s a lot to be said but all in all relocating for this company seems to me like the worst decision one could make seeing as the current internal climate leaves a lot to be desired.

Would like to get an idea if it’s just Building Automation or this is a corporate mandate affecting all businesses

Yes, Aero sites HR mandating workers back to site no matter how far the commute, or if you have a team there. This will go far to improve the <13% voluntary attrition goal for 2024.

Here’s the thing. Atlanta is an amazing city. Commute su-ks. Charlotte is a meh city. Commute su-ks. Phoenix is a hot city. Commute nonexistent. Houston is a hot city. Commute su-ks. Chicago is a cool city. Commute su-ks. New York is the goat city. Commute su-ks.

Get over the commute. Or move to phoenix.

What have you heard about Building Automation? Everyone to Atlanta Midtown? I’ve heard of a select handful of people in other divisions (not BA) being asked to move from other Atlanta area offices that are still occupied and show up in Atlanta Midtown by no later than April 30th but nothing else. Suspect they want to increase occupancy in Midtown and stop paying rent on other Atlanta area locations. Have heard nothing else.
