Corporate marketing is a joke
Likely non-customer facing roles and on-prem related roles will be more greatly impacted, particularly in higher cost locations.
Ariba has a large presence in India so look for North America positions to move there as part of the restructuring.

To be candid. I’ve always found it better not to even acknowledge Ariba exists… much less have any thoughts on it…

These layoffs are supposed to be about AI replacing team members. How will AI replace people delivering solutions to our customers right now.
What about SAP Concur?
I can’t see any reasons why Concur would be treated any differently when it comes to offshoring jobs..In the simplistic minds of SAP’s Executive Board, Concur could be seen as an example of successful offshoring. There are already activation, Support and CSP teams in India and the Philippines—moving the remainder of those functions from the US and Europe is the obvious next step. I’m certain that they are looking at asditional functions too.
What about SAP Concur?
This is an easy one to answer. Simply if it will cost as much or less to run the SSC out of India, they will be moved. No question at all about it.
Actually I would think this, as well as other support functions, will be the first ones which Renjen will have his team looking at for possible offshoring
What other departments did you find deloitte offshored in your research?
Unfortunately, I think that GSS positions will be offshored to India. Researching Deloitte and the types of positions that they have and continue to offshore and seeing articles where Renjen is very open about this being “India’s century” lead me to the conclusion.
