It is happening and employees that have been laid off have been told to stay quite till tomorrow or loose your severance. They are trying to get through all the layoff before it goes public. I know a 6 marketing people that have been laid off.

The senior leadership rumor says Jeff Clarke is the new CEO within a week or two so get used to the iron fist if you are still there.

13 week quarter x 3 days per week in the quarter = (gasp) 39 days per quarter.
How does that not math out?

The 39/40 hrs is certainly someone mixing up the rumors. I’ve heard from several people and forums that 39 DAY PER QUARTER will be required. This is roughly 3 days a week. Not 39 hrs a week in office.
5 days in office is more than I had pre covid
Sell customers on hybrid work while crammed into a sweatshop. Employees coerced back into a non-hybrid environment.

Product marketing got walloped, influencer team mostly gone, Sam Grocott’s org heavily impacted. Was told by leadership that all noticed in US will go out today with other countries rolling over 2 weeks. Big reorg in the summer to cover all the gaping holes left by this
Also heard about the mandatory RTO, didn’t see anything today on it
8 weeks base then 1 week for every years service.

I love that people cried fake news at me. On my team of 12, maybe 3 were spared. We aren’t sure yet. There are so many layoffs that some people have to wait until tomorrow. I was terminated this morning.
Terms are a super lame 8 weeks of severance with 2 months of premium COBRA paid by Dell. 90% bonus payout and 100% of any shares vesting within 90 days, and don’t let the door hit you in the a-s on your way out.

Truth: three in NA field marketing today. One on my team had a role change that was delivered in a 1:1 today. Leadership said this is heavily marketing focused, but other support groups too
Primary phase of layoff is 1 st week of new fiscal year. 1:1 meeting will go out Friday 2 for meeting Monday 5th. That way the restructuring charge for severance is deferred till May earnings call and doesn’t impact q4 earnings report at end of Feb.

big cuts in marketing starting this morning. 1:1 emails went out on friday afternoon and 3/4 of my team was cut.
I've heard the 3x RTO is true for the RoundRock inside sales roles from multiple sources.

I hope the exec shakeup is real, specially in marketing. I've seen a lot of top talent leave or being pushed out, anyone against their agenda (collecting a paycheck with min to zero work) is shown the door. Other areas like ISG could also use some clean up.

A couple questions for those prior laid-off. If you maxed your 401K before company match last year, do you still get the true up in mid-February?
What about the add’l Feb HSA contribution?
Do you still get any LTI that vests in March?
