Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Has anyone heard a word on IBP?

Management has been dead silent this year on IBP Payout. Has anyone heard any whispers?

Yes agreed, not sure of the actual % but IBP payout will be on a curve. Nothing below 75% however unless you have folks on a PIP or have had conversations with them prior. That started about two years ago but will be more strictly enforced. Similar to stack rack for WFR list.

We have got directions that IBP can't be 100% across the board in the teams. Have you got the same? Some have to go below 100% and some above to even out at 100%?

Severance is 90% bonus payout this year. Last year was 70%. It means you are tracking on 100%+

I've heard that the multi-department layoff plan has begun and will last heavily for the next couple quarters. Safety tomorrow doesn't mean safety next month.

I've had it before the official email too, but then it's not final. It can change. Still, the email to all employees will give the correct numbers.

It’s definitely not true that management doesn’t know it before the email goes out.

Our director has told us the percentage several days in advance multiple times

All employees will get it by email at the same time. Your direct mgmt don't know it before the email goes out. If I recall it's first days of March it goes out.

It's too soon. Wait for the FY to end first.
