Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Dell Moving Towards Partner Ecosystem?

With all the layoffs happening, not just with Dell, but it could be that MD and JC long term strategy would be indirect sales. Look at HPE, IBM and others.
No need for ...overhead... and partners will be happy. Right?
Not to mention AI that's coupled in with this. Thoughts??
Best wishes to those who are leaving.

I'm a former longtime Dell employee...Dell has become a 24x7x365 sh-t show and it started 3-4 years. I had to leave and saw the writing on the wall. MD, JC, Billy and now Chuck Whitten have driven it into the ground making strategic blunders left and right. This is the second time Dell has brought someone over from Bain & Company (Whitten and Kevin Rollins 2004-2007) to make the organization a steaming pile of cr-p and maximize executive payout. All should leave. Stockholders should be pi---d at their underperformance.
There are so many talented people at Dell, and it is too bad to see incompetent leaders not able to see beyond their self interest.

JC needs to go. Not MD. JC does not care about employees and his outrageous salary needs to go as well.

Michael Dell needs to go. Poorly run company and he’s to blame. Stock will shoot up with this announcement

Michael is retiring on Monday and has not been part of long term strategy planning. Jeff Clark and Billy Scannell are running the show.
