In solidarity of the folks being let go, we should protest the new severance policy. GLOBAL sickout for few days. Eventually the severance police will hit nearly ALL of us so its in everybody's interest to have the new one week policy retracted. To he-l with these a holes. Fight!

I have a copy of the policy from 1/29/24 that still has 2 weeks as the calculation. When I went back into and looked at it just now it says 1 week. They didn't even bother to update the effective date of the policy when they changed it (retroactively)

In most cases I can come to terms with the fact that businesses are going to make business decisions, and that su-ks for us. But if this is true about severance going down to one week of pay per year, it shows how much the leaders lack empathy. They really don't care at all.

Anyone that will still be around, remember this when your leaders try to build up your confidence. You're working for some ghouls who have lost any empathy they ever had.

Anyone that isn't around anymore, they looked at your service to the company and sp-t on it. No one is going to stop layoffs, but the media needs to understand that this is going beyond a business decision with the severance package. Nielsen's reputation should appropriately be tanked more than it has already done for itself.

we hung on through a year of intense stress and cr-p (i’ve been job hunting but it’s hard as he-l out there) and we can’t even get two weeks per year. These people are truly horrific, pieces of sh-t. Greed at all costs. I’m not surprised, look at what elliott mgmt has done elsewhere. well at least the c suite aholes have their sweet hunk of coin. I’m sure they’re reading these posts and laughing at what losers they think we are. 🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻

Not everyone gets unlimited PTO. Some people only get 2-4 weeks depending on length of employment.

Is that 2 weeks pay just for low level non-management or is low to middle management also impacted?

No one will survive with only one week of severance per year. I can’t believe how terrible this is.

The unlimited PTO policy means no payout of PTO.

Isn't there a cap of weeks? Did you hit the cap or is it really 1 week per year? What happened to the 2 freaking weeks people received last time? Can 2 weeks be requested? Lots of loyal employees getting the boot.
