There's no foreseeable death to profitability in Model E
I don't think so. DF probably is shown the door with JF. If he stays after JF, then it's a more formalized CTO role. They only have so much leash to make it work.

Seriously doubt that 50/50 chance you said.
I would more likely give DF a 90/10 chance of being CEO when the time comes. Most would agree.
Ford Pro. Once the JF experiment is over, I'd give TC 50/50 odds of being the next CEO.
There is no such thing as a strong organization at ford any more . Ford has bin infiltrated and over run by the friends and family dictators and are toppling the company in to the ground. Way too many decision makers in positions they don’t belong in but are only there for all the reasons except merit, experience or performance.
Ford NEXT ;)
I can't speak to ADAS leadership, but it's a business that has not yet proven itself as a a significant and sustainable source of revenue and profits. That's true across the industry.
Ford Pro makes money, we just don't talk that much about it because of how much a behemoth the F-Series is.
Ford Pro. ADAS used to be stronger till early 2023 and DF ended up hiring a sc-m Sammy to lead ADAS. He went ahead and hired his intern colleagues as an LL2. Can’t wait to start to see the mess this sc-mbag creates
Ford Pro by a long shot. Stable business, high market share, profitable. Leadership has a history of shouting/yelling/behaving like little children though.
Model e is by far and away the growth organization of Ford. When your are growing, your are hiring (not separating). Not hard people.
Neither. No place is safety in Ford. The best thing you can do is to get your resume ready and have a backup position outside Ford.
